Volunteers are the heartbeat of our swimming club. Without their dedication, there would be no sport, no national champions, and no future Olympic swimmers.
At the Borough of Harrow Swimming Club, we are a community-driven organization, run by our members, for our members. We rely on the incredible support of our volunteers in every aspect of the club—whether it’s serving on the committee, managing teams, organizing galas, representing squads, officiating at events, or providing essential administrative support.
By becoming a volunteer, you will not only help the club thrive but also be an essential part of the athletes’ journeys, from beginners in their first swimming lesson to high-performance competitors aiming for greatness. Your support helps shape our swimmers’ success and strengthens our club’s community.
What kind of roles are available?
Why volunteer with us? Volunteering is a fantastic way to get involved in the swimming community, meet new people, and develop new skills. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young athletes and help us continue to grow and succeed as a club. Whether you have a little time or a lot, your contribution is valuable and appreciated.
How to get started We’re always looking for passionate people to join our team of volunteers and make a difference. No prior experience is necessary—we’ll provide guidance and support every step of the way. If you’d like to get involved, please reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator, Kiru Somasundram, at vinammra@gmail.com, and she will guide you on how you can contribute.
Join us in helping our swimmers achieve their dreams!
