Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Swimming Coach to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating training sessions, developing swimmers’ skills and techniques, and fostering a motivating and supportive atmosphere. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for swimming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct high-quality training sessions for swimmers of various ages and skill levels.
- Develop and implement individualized training programs to help swimmers achieve their personal bests.
- Monitor and assess swimmers’ progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating environment for all swimmers.
- Attend swim meets and competitions, providing coaching and support to swimmers.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective coaching program.
- Maintain accurate records of swimmers’ attendance, progress, and performance.
- Stay updated with the latest coaching techniques, swimming regulations, and industry developments.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a swimming coach, with a track record of developing and improving swimmers’ performance.
- UK Level 2 Swimming Coach or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of swimming techniques, training methods, and competition regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate swimmers to achieve their goals.
- Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive environment for all club members.
